Hi all, I'm in the middle of a property purchase it's listed as band b and is end terraced.
I have seen on the gov website with the postcode that all property's on that postcode are band a except this one.
In that search there is another end terraced property that's is a band a
Do I challenge the band?
Is yes how is that done?
Thank you

Also look at similar houses in nearby streets for confirmation that Band A is the norm for End Terrace rather than Band B and do check that your home isn't larger than the other ET..
Once you have bought the property you can make an online appeal within 6 months. You will need to submit reasons why you think your band is wrong but be aware estimated 1991 house prices from house price indices will not be accepted as evidenceIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1
