Effect of US Tariffs and how it might change your investment strategy (or not)

Interesting video. US based and touches on the history of tariffs (3 different eras going back to 1800's), how they have affected the market and strategies for navigating the current market, especially if you are investing for retirement. Clear presentation and very grounded though most interesting bits for me are the three tariff eras, the timings on market corrections and bear markets.

I'll stay cap weighted globally invested so that will include any gains or falls in the US. I'm making plans to move from the US to the UK and I will probably increase my cash allocation quite a bit and hold that in the UK in case it becomes difficult to move money across borders.
And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
