Spotify Premium Family - all must live together

Spotify's Premium Family is for up to 6 family members who live together. "We will ask for your address to ensure you live at the same address." Does anyone know if/how they verify that people on the plan live together, and what happens should they find that people on the plan live at different addresses? Purely out of interest, of course...

They do ask for verification for each member it is possible to put in an address that you don't live at but the account holder does.

They might used location based tracking during the sign up process so you would be best to sign up at the account holder's address.

Theoretically of course.

They may well notice that all 6 people are never using Spotify in the same place at the same time & get suspicious

May work out like Netflix, where you have to log into the "home" IP address every so often.

I have premium and the children use it. They’re also at their mothers half the time. No verification was needed and I haven’t had any sort of communication from Spotify regarding this.

They'll be geolocating you either using the IP or GPS and will be looking for patterns of certain of your "family" who are never "at home" and if they are connecting all the time from another residential address at night or if their connection is always a commercial one, so presumably just using it at work etc.
