I once used 'compatible' cartridges and found them cr*p.....also tried having cartridges refilled at Cartridge World also cr*p.......so now never ever buy either but search the net for the cheapest originals I can find.
P.S
I use about £500 of cartridge a year !!!0 -
compatibles are usually pretty good. I suppose it depends on what brand you get.
I buy my epson compaitlbes from www.diskdepot.co.uk I've also used choice staionary too0 -
I buy mine from Inkcycle and they have been fine. This company give points for every purchase too.
The printer is a Hewlett Packard and the cartridges are very expensive. Another benefit is that your get more than twice the amount of ink in the cartridge.0 -
It very much depends what brand you get. There are very cheap compatibles available for next to nothing, but the quality is generally pretty poor.
I've used JetTec cartridges in my Epson and Canon machines for about 4 years and had no problems. JetTec seems to be a pretty good brand, and the cartridges are available a lot cheaper than the genuine ones. I get mine from Britink, but I'm sure they are available elsewhere.0
