Another slow cooker question! -Auto setting?

well i have learned something new from it lol
my slowcooker has auto but i have never used it as i didn't know what its for
i have just been using low and high and we'r all still here!0 -
I usually put on high whilst I chop, sort, chuck everything in; leave for 5-10 mins then turn to low.
I think the auto is useful if you are rushing out very soon after putting everything in, or are using a timer.0
