Thanks. What stops them taking enforcement action and coming to your house etc? Or is that still a possibility?0

Forget coming to your house, you won't get bailiffs for unsecured debt. It is possible you will get a door knocker, no more rights than next doors cat, you just ignore them and they will go away.
If they did think about going for a CCJ it wouldn't just appear from thin air you would get snail mail letters giving you time to deal with it before it got as far as court. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
The whole concept of debt management is that you pay an amount that you can afford to pay comfortably from your budget.
Everyone is different, as we all pay for different things, so DMP payments are unique to you, whatever you have left over after your essential spending is accounted for, that can then be used for your unsecured, non essential credit debts.
Creditors don`t have any say in what you pay, that is entirely your decision, based on your budget, as for legal action, they won`t get any more from you by taking legal action, as the same budget would be used to determine court payments, they just prefer to sell their bad debts to debt purchasing companies instead, who accept payments on the same terms, but who may consider legal action, if you were to ignore them for a period of time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
