BIGGEST GIVEAWAY 2025: General Terms and Conditions

Campaign Overview:

The "BIGGEST GIVEAWAY 2025" campaign is organized by Visit Maldives and will run throughout 2025, featuring monthly contests across various social media platforms.

Eligibility:

Open to participants from all countries.
Entries must be shared on a public social media account. Submissions from private accounts that are not publicly accessible will not be eligible.
The Campaign is open worldwide, except where prohibited by law.

Contest Participation:

To participate, entrants must:

Follow the specific instructions on the designated social media platform (e.g., liking posts, tagging friends, creating boards, answering trivia, submitting photos/videos).
Adhere to the contest rules for each month, communicated via Visit Maldives' official social media and microsite.

Contest Period:

The campaign will run from January 2025 to December 2025, with a new contest each month.
Each monthly contest will have unique start and end dates, as specified by Visit Maldives.

Prize Details:

Four (4) lucky winners each month will receive raffle prizes, which may include travel packages, accommodation vouchers, experiences, and other relevant items.
Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
Winners will be notified after the specified announcement date.

Winner Agreement:

Upon receiving the raffle prize, winners must sign a Winner Agreement outlining the terms for prize redemption, usage, and related conditions to ensure smooth prize delivery.
The agreement will cover matters such as prize delivery, travel arrangements (if applicable), and any other necessary details.

Judging Criteria:

The judging panel will comprise a dedicated team from Visit Maldives.
Judging criteria will vary based on the type of contest (e.g., creativity, relevance, engagement, presentation, adherence to guidelines).

Winner Selection and Notification:

Winners will be randomly selected (if applicable) or based on the criteria outlined in each contest.
Winners will be notified within a reasonable timeframe after the contest ends via email or direct message on the platform used for entry.

Social Media Requirements:

By entering the contest, participants grant Visit Maldives permission to use their entries, including photos, videos, and comments, for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Entries must not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., intellectual property, privacy).

Personal Data:

By participating, entrants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information for the purposes of the contest and winner announcements.
Personal data will not be shared with third parties, except for prize delivery or as required by law.

General Rules:

All entries must comply with contest rules, platform terms of service, and applicable laws.
Visit Maldives reserves the right to modify or cancel the campaign in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Technical issues preventing participation are not the responsibility of Visit Maldives.

Publicity:

Winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity (including name, photo, and/or video) related to the Campaign. This may include publications on Visit Maldives' platforms and materials.

Changes to Terms:

Visit Maldives reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated via official Visit Maldives channels.

Acceptance of Terms:

By entering, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Visit Maldives, which are final and binding.

I can't see any further, more specific prize info anywhere, on any platform, so could be a bit of a lucky dip.

However, it does look like this month's prizes are hotel accomodation, see the comments on this thread.

I notice that the sponsors of this month's comp are 4× hotels and the Instagram post below makes me think that the prizes could be hotel stays (probably no flights):

I agree with you re. prize and upon reflection, I also think that you're right about posting each month individually, as not only prize but method of entry is likely to vary.
