SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS

Hello everyone, I've been offered an amount to leave my company, I've sent a signed settlement agreement document back to my solicitor today, the agreement does say I am not allowed to have had another job offer, I haven't but I have been applying for jobs given the situation, am I ok to do this? I have an interview tomorrow too, I assume this is ok also?

If it says what you say it does then I don't see any issues with looking for or interviewing for other jobs, is it just you stating you haven't had an offer at the point of signing or does it mean up to a certain date in the future?

You need to ask your solicitor - they will have seen the exact wording of the agreement and be able to give you accurate and properly informed advice.
