There is a  nice example of this Italian wine, under the label of 'Remastered', available in Tesco on clubcard reduction and multibuy so that you end up paying under £4 a bottle

That is a very good price for that wine, the Sangiovese grape is also used in Chianti and should have dark cherry and damson flavours.
