Unwanted cds

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. Over the years i have accumulated a large collection of ISP cds (mainly AOL) and now i'm having a clear out and want to get rid of them. It seems a waste just to throw them out with the rubbish. I was wondering if anyone knows of an alternative use for them i.e. recycling etc. They would be rather heavy to post tho, any ideas welcomed.
Errrr...come back later

You could use them as coasters.
You could stick them to a wall-shiny side out-and make a 'funky wall'
Keep them by the front door and throw them at door-to-door salesmen
Erm,
Thats it, sorry.
You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Hang them up outside in garden to keep birds away. they flash in the wind :rotfl:
Girl where I used to work did homemade greetings cards with the shiny side, go to a crafts fair and ask if they will take them. Or maybe charity shops.0 -
Send them all back to AOL
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
Try signing up for your local freecycle group and offer them there. A local school/nursery might be interested for craft purposes. Two glued together shiney side out with a ribbon hanger then cover with pva glue and glitter makes nice xmas deccies

I know of someone who uses them to make fancy birthday etc etc cards. They're pretty good too!0

Dont put them in the trees if your garden is over looked by others!! It will annoy the neighbours too!!!! My elderly mother was suddenly in a disco in her living room after a neighbour at the rear did this...I think some complained...or perhaps the neighbours themselves where also subject to the colourful light show!!!!0

Hi Wesker
Where are you
I would love to collect them for you for my pre-school but failing that, do you have a local paper that allows free ads. I am positive somebody will want them for crafts if they are free.
Also in our area, Plymouth, we have a giveaway forum on our local recyling website that allows people to 'advertise' items they are giving away. One mAns junk is anothers treasure.
Good luck

Hi scml, great to see another Plymouthian here! Do you have a link for that 'giveaway forum' by any chance?
