                    Hi there,
I have asked a DCA for proof of a couple of debts they are claiming.
They have responded, and supplied a statement and agreement for 1 account. The other is only a statement
This statement is only a grid you could knock up easily in excel, with Client Reference/Payment Date/Payment Value/Payment Type.
There is no reference to my name, no reference to whom the debt was owed to, owed by, or balance.
The last payment was Oct 21 so is still in time frame.
Is this valid proof of debt?
Thanks

Obviously not, but do you suspect what this debt is or have you no idea?0

I’m not sure what it is.
i am paying what i thought i owed, although the ones they’ve sent through had slipped the net. Or at least one of them.
The one with an agreement, do I just go back and ask for the agreement? What happens if they don’t provide the agreement?
I will be arranging to pay the one they’ve sent the agreement and statement for.

Tell them what they have sent does not constitute proof of liability and you will not be paying it until this is provided.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
