Cheque Refund Interest

Received a checque refunding all interest charged while I was on breathing space.

Is it ok if I just go to the bank and deposit this?

I am currently waiting for all my accounts to default.

Sorry if I'm being too silly about this but I initially imagined that they would catch me or something because my account is in arrears. 

But thank you for your replying. I honestly believe I have paranoid ideas about this whole thing. Thank goodness for people like you who take time to answer our concerns....

OK  first thing is do not panic about anything to do with your debt. How do you think any of your creditors can see what is in your current account? They can't.

If you are waiting for defaults I presume you have stopped paying all unsecured debts, if not stop now and save as much money as you can for your emergency fund and possible reduced final payments.

You entered breathing space, the idea of that is to allow time for a solution to your debt problem to be reached.

The company assumed from this you were struggling, so refunded all interest charged for that period, its just a goodwill gesture on their part, don`t read any more into it than that.
