National insurance transfer from spouse who had been registered for child benefit

Wondered could you help. I am a 59 year old male. I need 4 years NI contributions to receive full pension. My wife already has 40 years contributions.
Was wondering how far back can I request transfer of my wife's NI contributions which she received for our daughter's child benefit.
My daughter was born in August 2004. Was looking to receive transfers for:-
2009/2010
2010/2011
2011/2012
2012/2013
but not sure that I can request that far back.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you need them? i.e. are you currently working?0

Would those pre 2016 years actually add to your pension amount though ? How many years 2015-16 and earlierr do you already have and were you in a contracted out pension scheme ?0

The Government propose to allow back dating of NI Credits from April 26 but only back to 2013.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tax-simplification-update-january-2024/tax-simplification-update-january-2024That is for a different reason though. It is limited to 2013 as it is for those that did not claim CB due to the HICBC.Transfer between spouses using CF411A is limited to the previous tax year but the guidance states to give a reason for not doing it earlier and each case will be looked at on its merits, they have in the past been fairly generous.

Have 31 years contributions , that being pre 2008 and between 2014 and 2020. Was in a contracted out scheme.molerat said:Would those pre 2016 years actually add to your pension amount though ? If you were in a contracted out pension it is likely you would be limited to 30 pre 2016 years, that is why I mentioned 2015-16 specifically, up to there is the ones you need to count.0

Have you and your wife obtained state pension forecasts?

What exactly is shown?0 -
Yes used Gateway for forecasts. I need 4 years to get full pension between now and 2032 and wife already has enough for full pension0
