Sudden contact from old creditor

I was on a DMP for over 10 years which I ended in 2020 when I asked for credit agreements from my creditors - I stopped paying those who couldn’t supply them and acknowledged the debt was unenforceable, and carried on paying those who could. In October this year, it is 6 years since my last payment to Link who since they acknowledged the debt was unenforceable in 2020, have barely been in touch except to send statements now and again.
Yesterday I received a letter out of the blue saying if I don’t contact them about making a payment, Resolvecall will visit my house to discuss. 

I want to respond to stop this happening but am conscious that as I am so close to the statue barred status, I can’t admit to the debt to Link or the period of 6 years before the statute Barr restarts. I am thinking of writing to say I’m not aware of the debt, could they supply the credit agreement. 

Is this sensible or would you suggest anything else I should say? Thank you in advance

Resolvecall have self employed agents who have less power that next door's cat.

The big advantage is that if one turns up, you tell them to get lost and it's all verbal. Don't get me into a discussion about credit agreements, statue of limitations etc.

More likely they call, don't get an answer and leave a card. End of.

Though just check your dates, a debt paid until 2020 would be statue barred sometime 2026?

Don`t acknowledge the debt in writing, as that would be silly if its close to limitation.

Resolvecall are nothing to be bothered about, just ignore them, film them, or invite them in for a cup of tea, just don`t put anything in writing.

If its already been declared unenforceable, then that still stands, no need to do anything.
