it seems ripple are in trouble, maybe in administration though I can’t verify that.
I gave a green relative a share in Kirk Hill as a wedding present. Is it safe? If not, what do I get him to replace it?

How that impacts investors is anyone's guess.
Guess it depends on wether the money is actually invested in one of the projects (one that is up and running) or held by Ripple pending being invested (e.g. into a new project).

The ownership of Kirk Hill is complicated, but is separate from Ripple. Kirk Hill members are currently receiving a weekly email from Ripple with updates to various management issues.
