Process after CCA confirmed?

Options
I recently sent a CCA request to Link, they’ve now provided this and the debt has been proven to be enforceable.

At this stage, is it as simple as me just making payments via their online portal? There’s nothing else I need to do, and they have no power to dictate how much I am required to pay each month?

I’m also assuming that interest doesn’t begin being charged again on defaulted debt?

Thanks.

Yes, just start paying whatever you can afford, I'd suggest doing it by bank transfer instead of direct debit or debit card so you are in full control. I'd also suggest paying less than you can afford and saving some money towards a settlement offer somewhere down the line. In theory they could try and get a CCJ against you, but in practice they are very unlikely to. They'll have bought your debt for a small fraction of it's value, so they can make a decent profit by just letting your payments roll in instead of taking legal action that would only result in you being ordered to pay what you can afford anyway.
