Please can anyone tell me if Pinecone Research has always been 1 year to claim your earned balance or is this something that has just started?

Thanks.

It didn’t used to be like that, but they stopped sending me surveys years ago. Although they never bothered telling me I was off the panel I just never got anything.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It's new. A week ago I suddenly had 10 years earnings wiped out as they were over a year old. They claimed it's in the terms, but then why had none ever expired in the last 10 years?

Advice is usually to claim survey earnings when they become available (survey earnings are not generally protected if the site/individual account is closed etc)

No, they wiped out all my points on 11th March, surely there is a code of conduct that they should give warning of a change of conditions?

From the member agreement that is © 2024 Nielsen Consumer

Rewards. We believe that you will enjoy your Pinecone Research panelist experience. Most of our interviews average 15-20 minutes and you are paid for each product evaluation study. Some household questions will be asked from time to time to ensure we direct surveys to appropriate households, and these household questions are not compensated. Rewards earned from participating in surveys are valid for one year from the award date. If unused on the 366th day after being deposited into your Member Account, your reward will expire and be removed from your Member Account Balance. For example, if you are awarded 5,000 points on 15 January 2024, and by 16 January 2025, you have not redeemed that 5,000 points, the expired 5,000 point reward will be removed from your Member Account leaving a balance of 0. Pinecone Research will redeem rewards from your Member Account based upon the award date. Your "oldest" Reward funds will be deducted first, leaving your most recently earned Rewards in your Member Account.

I cash out whenever I reach £5 and although I consider them one of the better panels I would never allow credit to accumulate for months never mind years (as per MSE advice cash in sooner rather than later for all survey sites as there is little/no financial protection for any credit)

The member agrrement may say that now but it didn't when I signed up and thay have sent no notification of the change. I too have just lost 13500 points on March 11th so presumably they introduced this on March 10th 2024 without notifying me. Disgraceful. I've tried to submit a ticket on their website to express my disgust but just keep getting a 'failure' message.

Just to let people know that I raised a ticket with them and they re-instated my points as a "1-off courtesy". Got me £135 back so well worth doing.
