The callback: pay over phone or later?

Just a practical question if anyone knows? I've signed up for a call back, but when that happens do I have to pay there and then over the phone? Or will they amend my online details so I can pay online, maybe giving me 3 days to pay for example? On a practical note I would need to transfer some money into my current account to pay, but don't want to do it until I need to pay. Also, what if we miss the call? Do they leave a number to call them back, or they will try again?
