Mortgage Protection Clause - Freehold

Hi I need some advice. I am selling my shared ownership property at 100% to a buyer who will then own it in full as a freehold. Her mortgage company Nationwide is requesting a mortgage protection clause to be added to the lease. My solicitor has told them this isn’t required as there is no forfeiture clause in the transfer deed but my buyers solicitor is insisting.

Any advice would be very much appreciated as this is stopping us from being able to exchange with the stamo duty changes approaching.
