Hallo Forum,
As I understand it you can always(?) fill gaps in the last 6 tax years, even after the 5th April 2025 (please correct me if I am wrong).
If gaps from 2006/2007 to 2024/2025 are permitted to be filled,
is it possible to pay just the gaps that will no longer be accepted after 5th April 2025, i.e.: just 2006/2007 to 2019/2020 inclusive.
Looking to save some money in the intial payment.
All hints greatly appreciated

Yes, you can pay any gaps you wish before the cut off, from 5 April it goes back to the 6 year rule so only 2019-20 onwards will be available. You can then drip feed as necessary, the best time being up to 2 years after the end of the year before they increase.0
