PRA group solicitor threatening legal action

Hi Everyone
I did a CCA request to PRA group at first they could not find anything and sent me a letter confirming the debt was unenforceable this was in July 24. In Dec I received a letter from their recoveries team threatening their solicitors if I did not respond with 14 days. I wrote to them saying debt was unenforceable as their letter July 24. They then sent me what looked like my CCA. Today I received a letter from their solicitor threatening legal action if I don't pay full amount or set up Payment plan with 2 weeks. Can I just set up a payment with solicitor of what I can afford per month.? Debt is 5500. Thanks

Of course you can, what else would you do?
If it went to court, payment would be set according to your budget, that`s how it works, so only offer what is affordable, they won`t get any more by taking legal action.
