'opportunity to have the job of my dreams and work with people'

I'm usually a big fan of brevity, but that's so brief as to verge on being trite. You could be a fabulous candidate for the police force, but a lousy sales(wo)man when it comes to putting across why you'd be great. Think about why it's the job of your dreams - what aspects really appeal to you? 'Working with people' applies to a great many different
careers; what aspect of interacting with them as a member of the police force particularly appeals?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Making helicopter noises etc is obviously essential.
For someone claiming to be a union official and CIPD qualified, that sort of reply isn't a great advertisement for either. How about trying to offer some genuine advice? Surely you've got something worth saying which might help OP to succeed?

my advice to the OP is that  many of these paid for  schemes to  get people into  various jobs are  for mugs , and  often just package information that you can get for  free  especially if you  cultivateyour own social circles a bit

I would seriously question what value they can add... anyone can claim to help anyone else to be able to secure a job and the key thing you can rely on is that there are no guarantees from them that you'll get the job. They can sell you snake oil and you'll have no comeback if you apply and fail again.

If you personally know people that have used them and they give good feedback then maybe, but surely your associates could equally help you with how they answered the final Qs. Dont go by any testimonials on their website or that they offer up.

Do you know people who work in the police? Have you asked them for assistance? They may also answer any questions you may have of the realities of the job. We have several coppers in friends and family and were you to speak to them they'd give a very mixed set of views on matters.
