Hi all, so like many I am trying to pay the gaps before the dealine.
I can't get through to do over the phone so am looking for a workaround, but they mention a register of interesst to pay vol. contributions, there is no visible form on their site, just a button to request a call back in about 8 weeks. dwp.gov.uk/request-a-call-back-to-pay-voluntary-national-insurance-contributions/contact-form
I have everything ready to pay and have found this, but was wondering;
a. If people have managed to do it online through BACS?
b. It will take up to 8 weeks to show on my account, does this mean I miss the deadline?
Ideally I want to talk to someone before I send over £900 off into the hmrc yonder.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you log in to the "check your pension forecast" site does it give you the option of topping up online? If it does, tat's probably the simplest option.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.

I have been trying to do it for about 3 months. The phone number today is unavailable; just cuts off.
The problem is that I don't have the 18 digit reference number.
I believe I can use my National Insurance Number to pay, but to be frank I don't trust it!

thanks for your reply. No I can't top up online, but there is a form to send the bank, which Im unsure about.
3 months! Yes the 18 digit ref number would be handy - but i am the same, I just don't trust it. I've paid my tax through the website, and it still doesn't show up as paid!0
