I am a bit confused on this subject, looking at my record I currently have an estimate of £206.12.
If I buy the current 4 missing years for £1947 it states I will get the full pension. My question is if I pay ,is the full pension guaranteed ie no more payments required? I am 63 and have 4 to go.Any advice appreciated

If you pay the missing years does this guarantee you a full pension at retirement? My estimate is £206.12 and they want £1946 for the missing 4 years. I am 63 and stopped work 4 years ago after working for 40.
    thanks for any advice

You're less than three years off the full weekly figure so don't need four, and £1946 for four years suggests that some will be partial, so if you pay the cheapest three years that's likely to be the most cost-effective approach.

What exactly does your pension forecast say? £206.12 at state pension age, assuming you continue to work for 4 years?

Two years will add £6.32 each and the final third another £2.44.

You've asked the same question in three different places now.
Post full details of your State Pension forecast and we can tell you how many more years you need.
For example, you might need to pay NI for future years (now until you reach pension age) as well as buying some previous years.
