Overseas contributions

Options
Both my daughters work offshore and need to catch up some years of NI.Class 3.
Given I am in the Uk I can pay more easily [ securely] from my account direct to NI.
1]. Is that allowed.
2]. Best method - I do not have bank account details for HMRC  to transfer to , so should I send a chq just quoting their NI numbers.

Are you sure your daughters need to top up any years?
If they do, can they log in to their pension forecast and pay the missing years online?

And if overseas they could be entitled to class 2, you need to clarify where they are working and under what tax regime.

Your daughters will each have to send form CF83 to HMRC to establish whether they can pay Class 2 or 3.  If they get that form to HMRC (online via their Govt Gateway ID is the best option) before 5 April 2025 then they are protected from the fast-approaching deadline.  They have nothing to lose if they have gaps that might be worth paying.

In terms of payment, HMRC doesn't care where the money comes from as long as they use the correct reference for those paying from abroad.

Thanks for those useful comments .
They have the statements and the Class 3 approval.
Just needed to make sure I could pay in the Uk.

Paying is not quite so easy.
I have seen other posts where those making contributions have been able to do directly
from their banks  to   HMRC  20 20 48  3094 4793 HSBC . Has anyone used this successfully pls.
