    Hi all, hope you’re doing well. Payday has been and gone and it’s a 5 week wait until next payday !!

    Been making slow but steady progress.

    CC1: 186
    CC2: 466
    CC3: 2613
    total= 3365

    My DD’s are still due to come out for the CC’s so those numbers will be lower by the end of July. Cc1 will also be totally paid off before August which I’m really happy about! It means I have an extra 120 a month to put towards other debts.

    Current savings:

    Christmas: 150
    Annual payments: 0 (had to take money out for my dentist appt which I had planned to do anyway)
    Holiday: 405 (goal met!)
    pc parts: 4
    emergency buffer: 6 (at the minute I am just using a ‘save the change’ option which is why this number is low)

    slowly chipping away at debts and adding to savings. I am a little worried about the 5 week month as it means more expense but I think I have planned for each cost so fingers crossed I won’t be overdrawn. If I am then I can dip into pots as I met my holiday goal early - don’t actually need it until August!

    Bit of a late update (with 3 weeks to go until August's payday) but better late than never!

    I have managed to sell a lot of my Pokemon cards which has enabled me to pay off more of my credit cards. As it stands, my current debt sits at:

    CC1: Paid off!
    CC2: £599 (0% ends Jan 2026)
    CC3: £2481
    Total = £3,080

    Almost under the 3k threshold.
    With CC1 paid off I will have more money to put towards CC2, so will be making a separate pot for overpayments. To pay CC2 off by December I will need to pay £120 per month which is exactly the payment I was making towards CC1. Hoping to actually get this paid off sooner with the overpayments, and then I can solely focus on CC3.
