Mature Student Pension Credit

Options
Thanks to Martin I've just found that I can buy 5 years of National Insurance credits from 2010 to 2015. I've sent away the email to hold my place in the queue and get a call back. I'm 73 now but was a mature student during those years when I was aged 59 to 64. Will I have to pay the full amount of around £4,000 or can I claim any reduced credit for those mature student years?

There is no discounted rate, the only lower than full rate is class 2 for self employed and working overseas residents.
Are you certain those years will actually add to your pension ?  How many pre 2016 years are already filled ?  When did you reach state retirement ?
