Pension boost deadline - forecast greater than the max?

Clearly clearly stated that the maximum weekly pension is £221, you cannot get more. But I checked mine and it says £227! Nice little extra but how can that be?

£221.20 is the standard amount, not the maximum.

Some people had exceeded the standard amount when the new rules were introduced in 2016 and they were able to keep the extra, known as a protected payment I think.

That's the good news.  The bad news is only the £221.20 gets triple lock protection,  the protected payment just gets CPI increases.
