Does anyone know where I can find the latest version of the prove it letter?
I understand it has changed at some point but I cannot find the latest version.
Thank you

Prove it and statute barred are different letters, are you sure the debt is yours? If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

There are no changes as far as I am aware?
What is it you want, the prove-it letter or the statute barred letter, as they are separate things for different circumstances?

Must have missed that bit.Yes its mine, but its from like 2016. Keeps going around debt companies, I usually send a statute barred letter but I had an old template and I read that something changed and the old statute barred letter I was using was no longer valid.0

The only thing that has changed in law, is in regard to the limitation act 1980.
The cause of action date has been amended to the date of default, rather than the date of last payment or written acknowledgement.
Really you should only have to send such a letter once and obtain a positive outcome from it, which puts the debt firmly in the statute barred, no more contact bracket, if these companies are being persistent you should have lodged a formal complaint and followed it right through to the ombudsman to put the matter to bed once and for all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
