Two self employed people in the household and we always receive a tax calculation in the post each in February after paying on 31st Jan.

Not received anything this year. Is this a new policy, or are they just slow?

Can you not view your calculation (and print it) on the portal?

Yes, but I don't need to. My question is whether it is now HMRC policy not to automatically post out the calculations any more? Just out of interest.

It’s a good question. I haven’t come across a paper calculation being posted, either personally or in respect of my clients for many years now.

The tax calculation SA302  is only issued if you submit a paper return by 31 October  fior HMRC to calculate your tax due.

Do you mean a statement if account showing tax due/ tax paid  at 31 January.

From conversations, threads on here & personal experience, HMRC are running very very late.  I normally hear in July but this year not until January & that was after I spoke to them because I was so worried.  Still it means my tax bill isn't due for payment until mid April.
