Should I wait to increase pension contributions?

I’m in a lucky position to be able to increase my contributions and also pay in a lump sum towards my company pension, but I have noticed in the last month that the pot has taken a dramatic fall.
Should I hang fire?
I am about 6 years away from retirement age, if that affects anything.
Thank you.

If your pot has fallen then that is because the underlying investments are worth less and would be cheaper to buy, often a good time to top up.1

It is March, so a good time before it's too late to maximise your allowances (pension, ISA, etc ). Also timing the market doesn't work in most cases, so you have the opportunity now to buy cheaper units.0 -
Should I hang fire?hang fire until when?
Investments are about 3% cheaper to buy than a month or so ago. Are you suggesting you want to wait until they have gone back up and become more expensive before buying more?
If you were shopping at Tesco and an item would cost you £1 today or £1.20 from tomorrow, would you wait until tomorrow to pay more for it?
