Missing National Insurance Year when I got married

I worked full time as a teacher from 1998 - 2010. All the years show full National Insurance contributions, except 2003 / 2004. It happens to be the year when I got married, and changed my name, so I can only assume that is the cause of the error. Nothing else changed, and I worked the full year.
It is too far back to pay to complete it, but surely it should be possible to correct the error. Has anybody found a way to correct historical errors? Who should I contact? I'd rather write than spend hours on the phone!

Does that one year actually matter though ?  You could spend a lot of time getting it corrected to make absolutely no difference to your forecast.  How many pre 2016 years do you currently have ?  What does your forecast show ?
