Halifax (Lloyds/HBOS) Mortgage Errors leading to possession order!

Options
I lived in Australia for 15 years. My London flat was rented out and standing orders put in place to cover the mortgage and service charges. Unfortunately, the Halifax having failed to redirect my mail as instructed, eventually adjusted my mortgage product/loans, setting up a second separate standing order without my knowledge or consent to cover payments using my Halifax current account. Unfortunately, the rental income could not cover these every month, running up debts into the £000's.

Their actions inadvertently cut-off my telephone banking access whilst abroad, (the only available banking tool back then), for the entire time I was abroad as I was unable to answer telephone security questions correctly due to the unsolicited changes.

The FOS initially accepted the complaint but then refused to investigate any actions that were subject to the statute of limitation. It is also self evident that FCA principles have been severely breached without recourse, even though the timeline overlaps with the 2020 £300 million fines levied by them against the Lloyds Group.

The Halifax (HBOS) / Lloyds Group, have taken me to court 6 times to possess my only home and refuse to concede, despite overwhelming evidence, that they initiated the product changes & standing order responsible for cutting me off and running the mortgage into debt.

I am retired and recently had double hip replacement surgery, so having been using my pension to fight this injustice since my return in 2019. I am now struggling financially, as the debt and legal fees on both sides mount up, and not been able to find a decent barrister that hasn't charged a package for the services whilst failing to deliver!

Has anyone had a sizeable mortgage dispute who can provide some advice.
