The following information and terms and conditions relate to the Visit Dorset and Discover Dorchester prize draw to 'Win a Luxury Dorset Weekend Getaway'. By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. ‘The Promoter’ of this action is Visit Dorset whose registered office is at Visit Dorset Tourism Team, County Hall (N4W), Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1XJ.

1. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

2. This Promotion is open to United Kingdom residents over the age of 18.

3. Employees of Visit Dorset, Dorchester Town Council or competition prize suppliers are not eligible to win.

4. The Promotion opens Thursday 27th February 2025 and closes noon on Monday 24th March 2025 (the ‘Promotion Period’). No entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will be valid. The promoter has the authority to amend, extend or withdraw this without prior notice at any time during this period.

5. The Promotion is free to enter - no purchase is necessary.

6. All valid and successful entries made during the Promotion Period will be eligible to win the prize offer consisting of:

• Two adult day tickets to visit Dorset Museum & Art Gallery on Sunday 11th May 2025. Tickets allows entrance to whole museum, including current Special Exhibition “Gladiators of Britain”. Dorset Museum and Art Gallery, High West Street, Dorchester DT1 1XA

• Cream tea for two, which includes a homemade plain or fruit scone served with jam and clotted cream and pot of tea per person, at PIP Café, St John Way, Dorchester DT1 2FG

7.  The prize does not include travel and transport to Dorchester and to the different locations on the itinerary during your stay. Many of the prize elements are walkable from your prize accommodation. However, some will require the use of public transport or a car. Your accommodation will be able to advise on transport options during your stay.

8. The prize must be used on the weekend of Friday 9th May to Sunday 11th May 2025 following the prize itinerary provided. If, due to circumstances beyond their control, the competition prize suppliers are unable to provide the stated prize, Dorchester Town Council reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to join the mailing list for Discover. The prize winner must agree to the use of their name for promotional purposes.

9.The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to the Promotion.

11. The Promoter reserves the right, at its discretion, to disqualify any entrant and withhold prizes if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules or if they do not comply with any of these terms and conditions.

12. The Promoter also reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions

13. Promotion winners will be chosen at random by the Promoter, unless specified otherwise, from all qualifying entries within 7 days of the competition closing date.

14. Promotion winners will be contacted by the Promoter within 5 working days of random draw taking place

15. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using the contact details supplied upon entry to the Promotion. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of the first notification, then the winner forfeits the right to claim the Prize. The Promoter shall not be responsible should the winner provide incorrect contact or delivery details.

16. Promotion winner names may be published on the Visit Dorset and Discover Dorchester's websites, social media accounts and in marketing emails.

17. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent.
