holiday pay and notice

I am on long term sickness and about to hand in my notice. If my notice overlaps the start of the new financial year 1st April will I lose my already accrued Holiday pay that has accrued whilst on sick leave. I have about nine days A/L remaining. 

Undervalued

You cannot lose your statutory holiday entitlement (28 days per year) as a result of not being able to take them due to being off sick.

If you get more than the statutory minimum holiday it is possible (although not very likely) that your employer may have special rules for the extra days.
