Quidco Bonus Offer Opt In?

Does anybody know how Quidco opt in for an offer works!
I was offered bonus offer of £5 if i purchased something over £15 from a certain retailer which was better than TC at the moment so i opted in and then waited until i got home from work to make the purchase only to be informed that the offer has now reached it's limit.

I thought when you opted in you had until midnight to use the offer like with those topcashback £2 bonus offers because this is the first time i have not been given offer after confirming my opting in, so i can only assume that the offer is retracted if others complete the purchase before you.

Can anyone confirm or deny that this works different to Topcashback bonus where you opt in and the offer stays valid until midnight.

Offer maybe valid potentially to midnight but the number is usually limited so if its been used by enough people the offers over - use when you opt in - last offer I used was a few months ago for £10 back for any spend (no minimum required).
