How long do you have to be in employment?

Hi,
I got a mortgage with Aldermore despite having 8 defaults on my account. I was about to exchange contracts when I got sacked so the sale/purchase was off.
I am starting a new job 5/3. How long until I can apply for a new mortgage and get moving?
The mortgage broker - Haysto- said 3 months but my probationary period is 6 months......any ideas?

When did you get sacked? If there is maybe a week or 2 between leaving and starting the new job, you might get lucky. If it was a month then it might be a little on the high side. Speak to Haysto and see what they say.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
