Trouble booking a grocery delivery slot

Is anyone having trouble booking a grocery delivery with Ocado?   I've been shopping with them for several years and usually find that they have the most available convenient or short notice slots in my area amongst all the usual supermarkets.  But for the last 2 weeks the number of slots have declined.  I cant book a Saturday or Sunday slot between now and the end of March and Friday isnt much better.   I realise that these are the most busy times and I know that they operate on a first come first served basis, but this is a huge change. Something has changed but Ocado deny it when I spoke to them.

I'm in London, no problem getting slots but we have mid week deliveries, and tend to book the next delivery shortly after receiving the previous delivery. We have a delivery pass

Edit: I've just looked at slots for us on Saturday (no problem getting a slot) and for.a friend I've ordered for in the past (south east) also no problem.

Which part of the country are you in?

No issues with Friday or weekend slots here (Yorkshire). We do pay for a delivery pass, there was a point during the pandemic where they were prioritising pass holders over other customers. I wonder if they still do that?

I have  a delivery pass too which is not much use if I can't book a slot when I want one.  In the West Midlands.  I usually book a week ahead at least, but never have any trouble if I want to change etc or need a slot at short notice.  I could understand the situation if I could only get slots at inconvenient times but for there to be no slots at all over 3 weeks in advance is inconceivable .

Have you tried contacting Ocado about this?

Yes, I contacted Ocado before I posted here.  ( on whattsapp as their website suggested,)  but I now think that I would have been better off talking to normal customer services).  They claim that my difficulties are down to demand and availabliity.  I dont accept this as I never have trouble booking a slot even at christmas , and all weekend slots are greyed out as far into the future as it is possible to see whilst availability during the week is normal.  Eventually, after much pushing by me they stated that they would email " the relevant team " and get back to me with information.  So we shall see what happens...  all I wanted was the truth and not to be fobbed off with implausible guff.  If they are reducing deliveries in this locality then so be it , but please dont treat customers like fools.

Their website/app is saying that they don't deliver to our address, after having deliveries for several years - most recently Monday. I've no idea why and will have to contact them - but you're not alone?

I had another look into this this morning. It seems that they'veb temporarily their site and certain addresses are only served from a secondary site. Frustratingly, that doesn't seem to work with their mobile app.
