Pru pension difficulties

Hello, why can't we do something about the Pru? Why are they being allowed to do this. I have been trying to move £900 into a SIPP - the Prudential forecast that my £900 would grow by 0.00% in the next 5 years.Your issue has nothing to do with the subject matter on this thread.I have been trying for 4 months and they keep saying my SIPP provider hasn't emailed them, but they have 3 times.... now they say it's the wrong email address and while they've received in mop.service.centre@prudential.co.uk I now need to send the 4th copy to support.sch@prudential.co.ukPrudential use the Origo system. So, if email is required, then it seems your SIPP provider is non-mainstream. That means it reverts to the old fashioned method. It can be frustrating when emails dont go where expected.
Why you are sending the email? The receiving scheme should be doing it, seeing as they are not using Origo. This is no longer about my £900, it's about all those older people who have been scammed by them.No-one has been scammed. That is a bizarre accusation by you.It needs to go to the FCA, and I'm going to do it - for all those who have lost money to them, and died while they keep the money. All of that is incorrect.

To accuse the Pru of scamming people when they've done no such thing is defamatory. Casting yourself as the knight on a white charger is a bit silly when there's no evidence of any wrongdoing.Norealnames1 said:Hello, why can't we do something about the Pru? You are clearly upset and frustrated, but if you read the helpful email from @dunstonh you should understand why your ire is both ill founded and misdirected.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -

The OP states
I have been trying for 4 months and they keep saying my SIPP provider hasn't emailed them, but they have 3 times.... now they say it's the wrong email address and while they've received in mop.service.centre@prudential.co.uk I now need to send the 4th copy to support.sch@prudential.co.ukIt is unclear whether the OP is to send a copy of the email to Prudential or have his Sipp provider do it.
I wonder why the incorrect email address was used in the first place- the SIPP provider can't have conjured up from thin air...Pru web site not updated perhaps?
And neither the SIPP provider nor the Pru seem in any rush to help the customer.

I wonder why the incorrect email address was used in the first place- the SIPP provider can't have conjured up from thin air...Pru web site not updated perhaps? When Origo is used, any messages are handled that way. No emails.
When Origo is not being used, the receiving scheme would normally post the transfer request (and, where applicable, the discharge forms) to the ceding scheme. Some schemes will try to save a few pennies by emailing it to the receiving scheme, hoping it reaches the correct department. Often pulling a generic published email address. Most schemes do not publish the email address of the transfer department. However, efficient schemes may maintain an address book of email addresses known to work.It is unclear whether the OP is to send a copy of the email to Prudential or have his Sipp provider do it.Usually, it would be the receiving scheme as they are in control of the transfer and as Origo isn't being used, there would be other data they need to provide to Pru. However, the OP says they are emailing it.
