Pepper Mortgage

We have just applied for a Pepper Mortgage the DIP went though pretty quick and then we carried on with the full application.
We received a pre-offer call on 21st February 2025 and was told to expect a mortgage offer within 24/48 hours. Now the 25th February 2025 and we haven’t heard anything should I be worried?
I have a few defaults and an active DMP that finishes this year (been payment consistently for 5 years) which is why I’m a bit worried. My partner has some debt but neither of us have missed payments or had defaults in the last 4/5 years and never had a CCJ or bankruptcy.
We’re applying for an £80k mortgage for a RTB property valued at £160k and we have a combined annual income of around £80k.
With the changes to RTB I’d be gutted to not be able to get a mortgage.

Sorry it’s our first time going for a mortgage and whilst there is lots of information online it’s hard to fathom whether we will get there.Thank you for your response. Clearly I need to learn patience.0

So much is at stake, I remember getting my first mortgage (before I was a broker). I know what its like.
Speak to your broker though. I always say a large art of our job (especially with adverse) is hand holding and offering reassurance etc.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. To be honest our broker has been amazing and is offering reassurance and believes all will be find. I suppose I’m trying to find the negative.0
