Argos have Wasjig jigsaws for between £5-8 on sale. I’ve never seen them this cheap before, and annoyingly they were hugely more expensive when I needed some last year3

@Spendless Nashville is on my bucket list of places I’d like visit in the states - USA wise we’ve only ever ventured as far as Florida but maybe one day once taz is older I’ll get a see bit more of it - do find the flights hard going though.
that’s a lot of requirements to find in a dress even before you added colour restrictions so a definite win to find one that hits all the marks. clothes wise I often find that what I want doesn’t seem to exist you’ll get things are close but rare to find something that has all the different aspects I’m after. Lack of pockets & stretch are a huge issue with women clothes and probably my age but nowadays I’d rather be comfortable than fashionable.

Morning all. Sorry, I’ve been absent for a while. I have been having a few health issues and just haven’t been able to keep up with all the replies.I have seen Jellycat mentioned a few times here and Googled to see what they are.Haven’t even thought about Christmas this year, apart from putting money away in my Clubcard account, saving money on my Asda savings card, plus I am doing the 1p challenge with Monzo, but that will come to an end in the beginning of January.Speak soon xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.674

Finally managed to fit in a trip to b&m Managed to pick up some of the smores kits ( thanks again @Spendless) & also picked a stitch lip balm set for dgd2 - I think I’m going to look for some other stitch toiletries bits to go with the towels I already brought and make her a little pamper type gift set.
Ordered some birthday decorations, stickers for the girls & a few stocking filler bits from shein - I know not everyone is a fan and there is some stuff I wont buy but a lot of it it’s literally the same stuff you can get elsewhere online as uk stock for double the price + you’re simply paying for the convenience of getting it sooner from someone who probably brought it from there or temu ect in the first place
lots of Halloween themed decor appearing in the shops already

Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well.
It's my Mom & Dad's wedding anniversary today - 57 years. Seen them yesterday and gave them a card, bottle of wine and some flowers.
I have an Avon book delivered every now and then and noticed there was a compact mirror that lights up. I might order this and keep it back for youngest daughter for Xmas. Other than that I haven't really thought much about it. Christmas dinner hasn't been mentioned for a while (hurrah).xx

Ah I didn't manage to get back on here after my last post, life is a bit of a struggle at the moment to be honest! The holidays started badly, we turned up for our cruise to the Norwegian Fjords only to be told my passport was not valid for travel in Europe.
It does not expire until March next year but I must have renewed it early last time so it has 10 years and 9 months on it, and what we didn't realise was that since Brexit you can only travel to Europe if the passport is within 10 years of the date of issue, mine was out by a month. Apparently there are lots of countries it would gave been fine for but not for Europe.
We were all devastated, this was a real bucket list holiday for DH and I not to mention how much it cost. Our lovely in laws paid for us to go to Butlins for the week and we actually managed to have a nice week, it is always a great place for the kids.
We are having a really hard time with DS1 this year, he is constantly de-regulated and having awful meltdowns. He had one at Butlins on the first night and I actually felt a moment of relief that we weren't stuck on a boat in the middle of the sea, so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise and not meant for us at this current time. Unfortunately home life is very hard for all of us at the moment, myself and my youngest stayed at my in laws last night to get some respite and DH has done this too. Normally I enjoy the holidays with the boys but this year is very different and I can't believe we're only two weeks in! It's DS1's 11th birthday on Tuesday so I imagine hormones aren't helping....
Anyway sorry for my life story! I'm determined to get sorted for Christmas early this year so it's not as stressful nearer the time, once DS1's birthday is out of the way I will crack on in earnest! I'm going to carry on catching up now, I hope you are all well. X4
