The Great 'Best Online Sale Bargains' Hunt

The January sales are ripe for picking up a bargain but the trick is knowing where to find it. So I thought I'd tap MoneySavers' collective knowledge to hunt down the best sale bargains, whether it's TVs, MP3s, furniture, clothes or household stuff.

If you've spotted a top, unmissable bargain, post the info below and include a link.

sorry Martin but I think this is a bad idea - what you are asking for is more or less what what the Grabbit board achieves right now, and because items are on separate threads, it's easier to spot something you might want instead of wading through what will doubltlessly be a massive mix of things on one thread!!!

I think sale items are by default a "Grabbit"...
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

  • very true, we would have to trawl through possibly hundreds of threads, and still may not find something we need. appreciate your trying, but have to say i agree with sid on this one :) happy new year

Because of the above comments about not wanting individual sale items, can I recommend this site page for a list of lots of current January Sales and the discounts offered that are on now.

I was researching Shopbots for another MSE post and came across this page:

    http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/discount-vouchers.asp

(Despite its title, its not only discount vouchers, it is also a current list of Online Shops with Sales)

Perhaps there ought to be a Worst Online Sales Bargains thread for items that cost more in the Sale than they did before Christmas. Argos would feature for sure.

  • You're quite right and we've decided not to go for this hunt this week. Thanks for the suggestions though.

***Bumped because the site I recommend above (post #4) is updated (daily, I think?) and I wouldn't want you to miss out on those Online January Sales! (and it gives you discount codes! 2 for 1! :D) ***
