Delay topping up pension after Paying NI voluntary contibutions

I paid for 2 years voluntary contributions in July 24 and my pension has not increased yet. I have made several phone calls to HMRC and Pensions dept. HMRC have confirmed that they have received the payment and have updated my details on their system. Pensions department have said that they are very busy due to increased demand in the last year. My last call to the Pensions dept was 3 weeks ago and i was told that they could now escalate my case as it was over 6 months since I paid the voluntary contributions, and that I should now get a response in 2 to 3 weeks. I am still waiting . Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know if there is any higher authority that can be contacted to expedite the situation.
