DRO & LLoyds

Options
I am in a debt relief order through money wellness. For months now I have been getting letters from Lloyds but I thought that they were just automated since I am in my DRO. I received a letter this morning saying they have sold my debt on to Lowell as they had no idea is was in my DRO. My dro started at the beginning of November and apparently there is nothing on my account about this.

What do I do? This is causing me great stress at an already difficult time.

Thank you.

Contact Money Wellness and find out if they did in fact inform Lloyds, the should sort it out.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

Makes no difference, they would have been informed by the IS to begin with, anyway they can`t do anything, as you are legally protected from enforcement action.

The sale of insolvency debts is common, its in case the DRO fails for some reason and the debt becomes enforceable again.

No reason for this to cause you any stress, as your DRO protects you, let them get on with it, if Lowell become a nuisance, advise them of your DRO.

Have you checked if your name is on the insolvency register?

Then there is nothing to worry about, a few letters etc are not going to harm you.

File in the recycle bin, but, as stated above, if they become too persistent write and tell them about the DRO.
