Disabled facilities grant land charge

Hi,
I wonder if someone can help me please. We had a disabled facilities grant a couple of years ago for my son to have a downstairs bedroom, he has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and his OT has said he now needs a accessable wetroom built so another disabled facilities grant. There is already a land charge on the house from the last grant repayable only if we move within 10 years then it's removed so I assume there would be 2 charges on the house. I wrote to Halifax to let them know about the dfg and they were happy but I didn't think to mention the land charge. Will this effect me remortgaging or getting a new deal with Halifax when fixed rate ends? Should I tell them about the land charge?

If the charge is treated in a similar way to a 2nd charge (mortgage) a lender will likely require a deed of priority in order to advance further money. This will require extra work from the lender and the holder of the charge. My last direct experience of this was more than 6 years ago so I don’t know what fees would be charged today.1

I checked on the land registry and there isn't a charge on there so perhaps it's only put on if we move!0

That wouldn't make any sense. If there's no charge then there's no charge, perhaps you misunderstood what the arrangement was.mylifemyrules said:I checked on the land registry and there isn't a charge on there so perhaps it's only put on if we move!0 -
Perhaps I did! I guess if I just keep with my current lender then I don't suppose it will come up regardless.0
