I applied for an additional £20k on my current mortgage with Skipton. They have been great and things have moved super quickly. Valuation was done last Tuesday and then I had a call on Wednesday telling me all they needed from me was the £20 admin payment. I asked if everything had gone through and they said yes offer has been made. I then asked how long the funds would take and was told 3-5 working days.
i was a bit confused I hadn’t had anything in writing so called again yesterday and was told I would receive something to sign in the post.
Ive still not received anything. I wondered if anyone has been through the process with Skipton and can tell me what their next steps where etc before I call them again tomorrow. I was hoping to buy a car but not sure the funds will now come in time.
