Aegon gone. Website problems, again.

Has anyone else spent the last few months trying to log into Aegon's online platform for SIPPs, only to either fail to get in, or to see what looks a bit like a hacked website, or a site falling apart? Today I can't get in at all, and given that my retirement stands or falls on what Aegon is managing for me, it's all a bit scary. Any knowledge of what is going on, much appreciated.

Aegon's software is pretty awful, but I have not had any problems with either of their SIPP platforms apart from when they have been under maintenance.

I have just checked both of their platforms that offer SIPPs (ARC & Cofunds) and they are running fine for me.

Just in case you were using the term SIPP incorrectly, I also checked their L&P platform for stakeholder, personal pension, S226 and S32 pensions (no SIPPs on that one) and that is working too but message that there is maintence happening today between 6pm and 2.30am.

I haven't checked their mastertrust pension website (ex Blackrock) as I don't have online access for that but that isnt a SIPP.

Thank you. I've come to regard what I have as a SIPP since I own all the investment decisions (inherited this set up, when the company that I worked for went bust). And yes they do keep posting 'maintenance' messages but the fact that those messages sit stuck at the top just adds to my worries over the security of the platform itself (no 2 stage authentication, offered)
