Good morning, don't know what the weather is doing, but it's certainly not as cold.
Derek, I'm so sorry about Scooby. What a heartbreaking decision you've had to make, but it was the right decision. The photograph is lovely.
We were out by 7.40 am yesterday in order to get to the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle for Dh's 9am appointment. Whichever way you go the morning traffic is terrible. Anyway we were there in time for the appt, and it has been decided that his radiotherapy will start in a couple of months. The hormone treatment he's receiving now will stop the cancer spreading in the meantime.
I had said I would visit one of our elderly friends this morning, and to be honest I could do without it, I've been awake since 3am.I don't want to cancel though, so plenty of strong coffee will have to be ingested to keep me awake
Thoughts to Derek today, it's such a sad time for him.
Thoughts also to others who are sad or poorly
