Lazy penny making

Do you have any ways of easily making a little bit of money? Other than work and benefits I mean.

I'm with YouGov, which sends me a survey about once a week on average I think, but I don't have to be thinking about buying a new car etc to answer them. They pay out when you get to £50 which isn't quick/often but is very satisfying.

I also play games on my phone through Mistplay. I like it because it measures time spent on a game rather than what you do. So if you find a game without adverts and your phone doesn't automatically shut off you can just leave it (running down the battery) while you get on with something else. And some games are fun to waste time on. I get a £5 voucher every couple of weeks or even quicker sometimes.

Plus Swagbucks, WinWalk, and occasionally selling things on ebay - but I don't get much from those.

What do you do?

NielsenIQ - scan in all your shopping and upload the receipt. Takes a couple of minutes. I get a £30 voucher every 8-10 weeks

I've got £60 voucher from HMRC for an interview.

    Wow!
I actually got a £10 voucher yesterday now I think of it. That required blood! 🧛‍♂️ I can't remember what the requirements are for taking part but if you don't mind height/weight/blood pressure being taken, check it out.

I'd recommend Keep Rewarding, because, apart from the usual survey and offer walls like at Swagbucks, they also have paid push notifications, which are a very easy way to earn by just clicking them.
You get credited once a week, usually on a Wednesday, for the previous Monday to Sunday. The amount varies depending on how many you clicked and how much advertisers are paying, but the maximum is usually more than 50 points (about 50 cents depending on your cashout amount) and at the moment they're doing very nicely and paying more than 100 points a week for the top clickers.
Also, if it's more than 50 points you can claim a 5 points bonus that day on the Contests page.
To get started just click Earn Points, Push Notifications, and then Enable Notifications. They need enabling again if you delete your cookies.

If you're looking for more passive ways to earn, consider cashback apps like TopCashback or Quidco if you shop online. They don't require extra spending, just using the right link. You could also check out Prolific for higher-quality surveys that pay better than most. Selling things locally on Facebook Marketplace might be easier than eBay, with no shipping involved.

Just be mindful of time vs. reward. Some methods, like Swagbucks, can be tedious for little payout. If Mistplay works well for you, great, but running games just to earn points might not be the best use of your phone’s battery.

It's by random invite only, but the national diet and nutrition survey by the department of health and social care is good and legitimate all paid in love to shop vouchers.
You don't have to do any and you can pick and choose of the bottom 3

    Initial survey £10
    3 follow up surveys £10
    Urine sample £5
    Blood test £25

You also get all your results too

Thanks for commenting. I don't buy much online - except my weekly groceries. I am registered with easy fundraising for cashback that goes to charity but they rarely get anything because I don't spend enough.

Yes, playing games does use up my phone battery and my time but if I weren't playing games I would be just watching TV and reading novels.
