I am very confused re state pension. It says I can take it in mid July 2027 but understand there will be another age increase. I was born 1960

Where does it says July 2027 - here?
https://www.gov.uk/state-pension-age/y/age
I think it depends on when you were born in 1960, but if later, I believe the upcoming increase would take it to 2027 (increasing from 67 from 66) not further.0 -
According to that if you were born on 28 December 1960 your SPA is in September 2027 so 66 and 3/4rs to go all Adrian Mole.0

I am hoping 2027 is close enough they won't mess with any SPAs in that year.0

There was a discussion on this earlier and the consensus was it would be difficult / unlikely for the SP age to change for anyone born before 1970 so those currently retiring before 2037.0

The next time there is a transitional year like this is when people born after 6 April 1978 start to reach 67.Fashion on the Ration
2024 - 43/66 coupons used, carry forward 23
2025 - 60.5/891 -
The older I get the faster 2030 and my SP comes hurtling towards me!0
